Ginger Miso Dressing

Ginger Miso Dressing

Ginger Miso Dressing

1 tsp White miso

Juice of half lime

3 Tbsp Spirits & Spice Calamansi Balsamic

1 tsp Liquid aminos (or ½ tsp soy sauce)

1 Garlic clove, minced

1-2 tsp Freshly grated ginger

1-2 tsp Honey

1 tsp Spirits & Spice Ginger Sesame Oil

*Chopped cilantro, if desired

Combine all ingredients and shake in jar until well combined.  May add freshly chopped cilantro to dressing, but the dressing will become unsightly in refrigerator and not keep as long.  I usually double the recipe and then adjust the amounts accordingly; however, the fresh ginger and garlic may not need to be doubled—personal preference becomes important.

If a fresh lime is not available, substitute 1-2 tsp Spirits & Spice Calamansi Balsamic (reduce honey as desired).

This dressing is the best for deglazing a pan for a kale bowl, used fresh as a salad dressing, or jazzing up  plain rice.  When there are small amounts of leftovers, use as a marinade or atop a piece of salmon to bake for easy flavor infusion!
